Mryl A. (Rocky) Berry
1954 – 2019
Rocky passed on August 6 th , 2019 at the age of 64 from this life, after a two-year battle with cancer. He never gave up believing for a miracle, nor did he ever say he had cancer.
God gave me the sweetest, most honest and giving man I have ever known. We had many great adventures over the twenty-nine years together. We lived and worked in many states, as Rocky was a master stone mason with a career spanning almost fifty years.
Rocky never had children of his own, but don't tell his stepchildren and grandchildren that. He will never be forgotten by any of them and the word step has never been used to describe "PaPa".
His greatest loves and most cherished memories were his grandchildren – Lincoln and Piper Tapp, and Lulu Harth. He loved the Lord and has gone on to Life Everlasting. I never had to question the way he lived life. I never felt anything but love and respect from him. He made me a better me. Always, we were a team.
I have had so many family, friends, and clients who have said what a kind, honest man he was. They were blessed to have known him. Through my heartache I have to remember the morning I found this scripture that helped us both so much. Isaiah 57:1, "Good people pass away before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to care that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow Godly paths will rest in peace when they die."
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again. We will all see you soon.
