Naomi R. Hampton
1921-2013
Naomi Ruth Hampton, age 92, of Edmond OK., went to be with the Lord August 3, 2013. Born June 21, 1921 in Flora, IL, a devoted Christian, wife,
Mother, and third generation Grandmother.
She was married to her loving husband, Percy A. Hampton, on July 1, 1939, for 53 years. They moved to Edmond, OK. from Charleston, IL. in January, 1979 and were members of Waterloo Road Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death, husband, Percy, son, Richard Allen Hampton, one sister, and ten brothers.
Her surviving family includes a daughter, Sondra (David Van Norman) of North Aurora, IL, three sons, Percy L. of Lindsay, OK, Walter Mack (Linda) of Edmond, OK, David L. (Sue) of Springfield, IL, 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
