January 26, 1927 – May 3, 2013

Long time, well known Edmond resident, Neal Little left us, surrounded by family and loved ones, to be with his Lord and Savior on May 3, 2013. Neal was the 7 th child born to Ivy and Lucy Little and reared in Heavener, Ok. Mid year of his senior year in High School he joined the U.S. navy and served 18 months as a Seaman first class on the Island of Guam, in 1945-46. After Military separation he attended OU for 2 years then graduation from Draughn's Business School with a Degree in Business.

In March 1947 he married Matha Stout and six children were born to them. Neal worked at various employments before moving to Edmond in 1962. Neal was a very Civic minded person and was involved in many activities in Edmond. He had a Tax Practice and the Edmond Downtown Auto Tag Agency from 1969-2002 when he retired. Neal was a Charter member of the Edmond Lions club, where he held many offices. He served at Breakfast on Blvd., Hope Center, Keep Edmond Beautiful and many other civic activities until his illness in May 2012. Tuesday mornings at Jimmy's Egg was a special time to meet with fellow Christian Brothers for breakfast and devotion. Week day morning's he would meet with another special group for coffee at Around the Corner restaurant.

Neal was a long time member of the Okie A's Model A club. June 2005 he married the love of his life, Dorothy Boyer.

Neal was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, 3 sisters and his youngest daughter Vicki. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, children and their spouses, Sharon and Scott Duffner, Debi and Tim Moore, Cleveland, Wesley, and Michael Little, two brothers, Wendell and Betty Little, Oren Little and Sister Iva Lou and Gilbert Scrivner, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Two step-sons and spouses, 4 step grandchildren and spouses. Many relatives and a host of special friends.

Neal was a very caring and loving person. Neal gave his life to his Lord and Savior in 1965 and lived in faithfully until his death. The family wishes to thank Epworth villa, Quality Life Hospice and the special nurses and aides that cared for Neal while he was there.

Services will be held at Oakdale Baptist church on Thursday May 9 th at 11:00 a.m. under the direction of Matthews Funeral home and cremation service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oakdale Baptist church Building Fund or the Oklahoma Lions Service foundation.
