Family, music, and margaritas. These are the three things Nevin loved most. He passed away on June 3, 2022, at 10:30 p.m. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Nevin was born in Chickasaw, Oklahoma on September 29, 1947, to Flo Tabor Fry and Eugene Melvin Fry. He grew up in Ponca City, Oklahoma, and later went to Northern Oklahoma State College, where he met and married the love of his life, Nelda. Together, they had two sons, Edward and Michael, and four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Anthony, Heather, and Dean.
He dedicated his life to music, first as a top-tier trombonist and later as an award-winning high school band director before switching to real estate then data analytics. He loved the thrill of the casinos and fast cars. He always enjoyed a good margarita with his sons. He will be missed and remembered with love by his family and friends.
