Noreen Wilson Reddout, 101, died on May 26, 2025, in Milford, MA. Lloyd Reddout, her husband of 72 years predeceased her. Noreen was born in Pawnee, OK, the daughter of William Paul Wilson and Gladys Haines. During WWII she worked building gliders for the war effort. After her marriage, she became a peerless domestic engineer, analyzing and refining everyday tasks. Noreen was a dynamo in her home. She prepared two family meals a day, and while the children were at school she might paint their bedrooms and sew new curtains and coverlets to complete the job. She used her many skills to create a nurturing home for her husband and two daughters in multiple locations in Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Texas. She handled her family's many and frequent moves with superior organizational skills and good will. Noreen and Lloyd were residents of the Dallas, TX area for 50 years, once their itinerant days were over.
When her daughters were older, Noreen became a licensed electrologist, studying at the Kree Institute in New York. She worked at several department stores in Dallas before opening her own business, Advance Electrolysis. She was a caring, skilled and precise practitioner who doted on her clients. Her business thrived as her expertise led to many medical and dermatological referrals.
Noreen was a person of strong religious faith and was a lifelong church goer and student of the Bible.
Survived by daughters Lynda Heller (Richard), Frances Blank, and grandchildren Adin Heller and Maxwell Blank, nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews, friends, and caregivers Luther Robertson, Lisa Haire, and Maggie and Coreymae Heuklom.
Noreen was born a lady. Intelligent, kind and giving – lucky are we who knew her.
