Onis Leroy Cox, 89, of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022. Onis was born on September 1, 1932, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, to the late Arthur Frank Cox and Stella Louisa Cox.
Onis is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Stella Cox, sister, Lorene Cox, and brother, Kenneth Cox.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 64 years, Arline Cox of Edmond, Oklahoma, sons, Bryan Cox of Edmond, Oklahoma, Gary Cox and wife Kristie of Duncan, Oklahoma, grandchildren, JC Cox and wife Ashli cox, Ryan Cox, and Linsay Cox, great grandchildren, Brycen Cox, Braxtin Cox, and Brevyn Cox, and niece Vickie Lot of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, Oklahoma. Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 1, 2022 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
