Owen Wayne Smith

Owen Wayne Smith was born January 6th, 2021 in Oklahoma City. He was welcomed into this world wrapped in his loving parent’s arms.

Owen, aged 5, passed at home in his parent’s arms on March 25, 2026 after a long battle with brain cancer.

Owen was a spirited young man, known for his passion for Ghostbusters and Pokemon. He loved deeply, laughed hard and was unafraid to speak his mind. He most enjoyed playing with his big brother, Walker. He also savored all types of delicious foods - birthday cake, pancakes, ice cream and Asian noodle dishes were always top of the list of his favorites.

Owen is survived by his parents, Jarrett and Jennifer and his big brother, Walker. His grandparents, Kirk and Kathy Morrison and Mark and Stacey Smith. His Uncle Wyatt, Uncle Brett and Heather, Uncle Steve and Katrina and his cousins, Chloe, Drake, Blake and Lauren.

Owen is predeceased by his Nana, Neketa Moore, his cousin Christina and many loving great grandparents and great uncles and aunts.

A celebration of life will be held March 31st at 2:00 p.m. at Life Church’s Oklahoma City Location at 2001 NE 178th St. Edmond OK 73012.
