Pamela Sue Timmons, lovingly known as Pam, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on June 20, 2026. Surrounded by her family, she passed peacefully and began her eternal journey in Heaven.
Pam was born on March 11, 1961, in Edmond, Oklahoma, to E.M. "Buddy" Sandefur and Patricia Sandefur. A lifelong resident of Edmond, she graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 1979 and later attended the University of Central Oklahoma to further her education.
Pam met the love of her life, John P. Timmons of Midland, Michigan, and the two were married on May 4, 1979, at First Christian Church in Edmond. Together they built a life filled with faith, family, and love, raising their two sons, Corey and Andy.
Pam enjoyed a distinguished career in fundraising throughout the Oklahoma City area. For nearly four decades, she dedicated herself to serving nonprofit organizations, helping raise critical funds to support their missions and operations. Widely respected as a leader in her profession, Pam cultivated an extensive network of colleagues, supporters, and friends. Her passion for helping others was evident in everything she did, and her work earned her numerous awards and recognitions throughout her career. More importantly, she left a lasting impact on countless lives through her generosity, compassion, and commitment to service.
Outside of her professional accomplishments, Pam found joy in gardening, sewing, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She had a special love for animals and a remarkable gift for caring for them. After many years in Edmond, Pam and John fulfilled a lifelong dream by moving to the countryside between Edmond and Guthrie, where she enjoyed raising horses and spending time trail riding with friends. Her home was always filled with beloved dogs, cats, and other furry companions. Her kindness and connection with animals was truly extraordinary.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents. E.M. "Buddy" and Patricia Sandefur, and her sister, Deborah Lester.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, John P. Timmons of Guthrie, Oklahoma; her sons, Corey Timmons and wife Brittany of Guthrie, Oklahoma, and Andy Timmons and wife Robyn of Newcastle, Colorado; her sister, Terri McKay and husband Mike McKay of Edmond, Oklahoma; and her cherished grandchildren, Asher and Shaelyn Timmons of Colorado, and Hadley and Aubrey Timmons of Guthrie, Oklahoma. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will forever treasure her memory.
Pam will be remembered for her unwavering faith, generous spirit, deep love for family and friends, dedication to helping others, and extraordinary compassion for animals. Her legacy of kindness, service, and love will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Pam’s honor to the Hough Ear Institute in Oklahoma City.
"Ride on high, my love."
Pam’s family finds comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her, and forever in the presence of her Savior.
