Patricia Eileen Biswell

Patricia Eileen Mullet Biswell was born in Chicago, Illinois, on April 15 th , 1953, to John Edward Mullet and Karla May Dalton. She was raised by Arthur Ray Palmer and Veda Dalton Palmer. She grew up helping on her parent's farm in Howard, Kansas, where she learned the value of hard work and dedication. She attended Ft. Scott Community College and graduated in May of 1972 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. On December 27, 1974, she married Robert Gene Biswell in Eureka, Kansas. In May of 1991 she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Patricia was very proud of her nursing career and it was her passion and what she loved to do. She showed compassion and love to everyone she came in contact with. She particularly enjoyed her nearly 20 years working at Deaconess Hospital on the oncology floor. She attended Crossings Community Church since 1987, and this was her church home. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, A. Ray and Veda Palmer; her biological parents; her precious babies, Kathryn Eillen Biswell and Robert Gene Biswell Jr.; her brother John Daniel Mullet and sister Lynette McKenney.

She is survived by her daughter Katy Anne Sissons and husband Jeffrey Sissons; two grandchildren, Kody and Kennedy; and a sister Marie Holloway.

The family would like to thank Dr. Nicholas Sloat, Dr. Randy Allen, Nurse Heather, and the entire staff of the St. Anthony's ICU. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Crossings Community Church Benevolence Fund, or the charity of your choice.

Visitation will be at Matthews Funeral Home Tuesday, July 7 th from 5:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 8 th at Crossings Community Church, with burial to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery.
