Patricia Kirk

Patricia Anne Kirk (Podolec), born January 15, 1945, in Amsterdam NY to Paul J. and Mary Jane Podolec, passed away on August 12, 2026.

Patricia graduated from Bishop McGuinness high school and attended the University of Central Oklahoma majoring in music.

While attending the University of Central Oklahoma she met her husband of 62 years Larry Dean Kirk and they married on February 1, 1964.

Patricia is survived by husband Larry Dean Kirk, children Dawn Marie and Jeff Tollefson, Michael Dean and Deanna Kirk and James Allen and Julie Kirk, Brother Paul J. Podolec Jr. and Sister Pamela Podolec, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren,

Nothing brought her more happiness than being surrounded by family. She was a devoted mother to her children and grandchildren. She always enjoyed attending family and family sports events. She was their biggest fan and never missed an opportunity to support and encourage them. She loved her gardening and the pets she cared for.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of Patricia.

Services for Patricia will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel with a reception to follow.
