Patricia Ann Kralik, 83, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly on December 17, 2023. Born in 1940 in Temple, OK, Patricia attended Edmond High School, where she first encountered the subject that would come to be her life's purpose – Education. After picking out her college of choice, Patricia attended Central State College (now UCO) to pursue her favorite subject and was an active member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority.
After graduating from Central State with her bachelor's degree, Patricia went on to pursue a 33-year career in education. Starting out as an elementary school teacher, Patricia quickly realized her passion for teaching at that level, excelled in that role at multiple schools, and was adored by the thousands of students she taught throughout her tenure. In addition to her passion for teaching, she had a passion for her friends and family. This was reflected in her many deeds and strong bonds that included a monthly Bridge game with colleagues which lasted over fifty years.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Calvin Parker, and is survived by her husband of 50+ years, Eugene Kralik, her brother, Keith Parker (Mary Pat), her children, William Kralik (Cindy) Michael Scammahorn, Jill Srnka (Dale), by her grandchildren, Jarek Srnka, Blake Scammahorn, Kandie Thompson (Jerod), Kameron Kralik (Courtney), Shelby Scammahorn, and Stefan Srnka, and by her great grandson, Kandon Kralik.
Public visitation will be held Friday, December 22, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Services for Patricia will be held Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Matthews Funeral Home, 601 S. Kelly Avenue, Edmond, OK, and internment at 2:00 p.m. at Resthaven Cemetery, 500 SW. 104 th St. OKC, OK
