He was preceded in death by his mother Janet Leathers and step-father Harry Joe Leathers.
He is survived by his sister Elizabeth (Rhett) Bolen, step-brother Petie (Carla) Leathers, step-sisters Pamela (Jeremy) Mork and Christe (Matt) Thomas and a list of nieces and nephews and other family members.
