Patrick Michael Wilsey passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, at his home in Edmond, Oklahoma after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Pat was born on March 31, 1950, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Lawrence Earl Wilsey and Loraine (Glynn) Wilsey. Pat was married to Rebecca Jan (Hutchison) Wilsey from 1977 until her death in January of 2021.
He had a long career in oil production with his Maxim Energy Corporation of Edmond, Oklahoma. Loyal and true, two of his favorite songs were the “Stillwater High United” fight song of his beloved Stillwater High (Class of 1968) and the Oklahoma State University song “Ride ‘Em Cowboys.” Pat was a gifted athlete and member of the 1967 Stillwater High School State Championship football team.
He lived life fearlessly with a zest for golf, corvettes, touring the U.S. on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and family trips snow skiing and boating. He will be remembered for his optimism, smile, humor, intelligence, love of his family, and toughness.
Pat is survived by daughter, Jacquelyn Erin Wilsey along with her children, Lyric, Reese, Josh, and Ellie; daughter, Leslie Ann Hill and husband, Brant Hill along with their children, Major and Sunny June all of Edmond, Oklahoma; brother, Douglas N. Wilsey of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Loraine Wilsey; brother, Lawrence Earl Wilsey, Jr. of Flower Mound, Texas; sister, Lynne C. Wilsey of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Visitation will be from 5:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be at 10:00a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, Oklahoma. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
