Patti S. Smith
1940-2022
Patti Sue Smith was united with our Lord Jesus Christ on the First of September 2022, in Edmond, OK. Patti was born in Springfield, MO on July 10th, 1940. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Smith; and her mother Lucille Horton, and her father Robert Horton. She and Bill, her husband started Mid-States Wholesale Lumber Company in 1986. They were married for 51 years. Patti worked as an administrator at Metro Church and Life Church for 32 years. Patti volunteered at Bethel Foundation in OKC, OK. Patti enjoyed traveling with family and friends; she also enjoyed watching her grandkids and great-grandkids enjoy life. Patti is survived by her daughters, Julie Davis and husband Mike Davis, Jana Smith and her son Jeff Smith and wife Shalene Smith; and seven grandchildren, Lacey and husband Tony, Justin, Rachael, Braden and wife Maggie, Jake, Hannah and Joy; three great grandchildren, India, Brode, and Torren. Patti attended Lifechurch.tv, Edmond, OK. Patti Smith's life will be honored and celebrated on Sat. September 10th, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Gracelawn Cemetery for graveside service, at Boulevard and Danforth. Formal Visitation will be held on Friday, September 9th from 6-8 p.m. at Matthew's Funeral Home in Edmond, OK with family present to greet friends.
