Pauline "Polly" D. Cochrane
1929-2023
PAULINE (POLLY) DOLORIS KINGSLEY COCHRANE – Pauline D. Cochrane, 94, died peacefully on May 10, 2023, in her residence at Lyndale Edmond Senior Living. She was born on March 30, 1929, in Snyder, Oklahoma, the daughter of Paul C. Kingsley and Jessye Mae Beason.
Pauline worked in sales for Sears and enjoyed square-dancing in her free time for many years. She was on fire for the Lord, had sunshine in her spirit, and always had a "giggle in her wiggle". She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John (Jack) Cochrane; brother Tommy (T.C.) Kingsley and brother Billy Joe Robinson. Surviving her are her sister, Faye Kingsley Cook and her husband (brother in love) Russell Cook; sister, Linda Robinson Foster and her husband Jim Foster; son, L.D. Loftis and his wife (beloved daughter in law) Dian Loftis; daughter, Paula Janay Loftis Curtis; stepson Johnny Cochrane and his wife Lisa Cochrane; stepson David Cochrane and his wife Trudi Cochrane; seven grandchildren, Marni Loftis, Brian Loftis, Cameron (Cam) Curtis, Lacie Curtis Blakemore, Gabriel Cochrane, Rachel Dean, and Bobby Cochrane; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service of remembrance will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 16 at Graceland Cemetery, 1407 N. Boulevard Edmond, Oklahoma. Family visitation is 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Monday, May 15 at Matthews Funeral Home, 601 S. Kelly Edmond, Oklahoma. Public visitation follows from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Those who wish to remember Pauline in a special way may make gifts in her memory for the poor in need or to the charity of your choice.
