Philip Ramsey Witcher
1937 – 2019
Philip "Phil" Ramsey Witcher, age 81, of Edmond, OK passed away on April 3, 2019 after an extended illness.
Mr. Witcher was born December 4, 1937 in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of the late Berthyl Stein Witcher and Henry Augusta Witcher. He retired from the Edmond Fire Department as Assistant Chief. He was a member of Henderson Hills Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Rosemary Watts Witcher; grandson, Brandon Witcher; and a sister, Henrietta Matthews.
He is survived by 5 children, Jerry (Kelli) Witcher of Guthrie, Danny (Crystal) Witcher of Edmond, Diane (Tony) Daiss, of Oklahoma City, Debbie (Tom) Durham of Commerce, GA, and Grady Witcher, Oklahoma City.
He had 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Highland Park Baptist Church Edmond, OK.
