Phyllis Louise Ford was born September 6, 1923, in Clinton, Iowa, to Leland and Audrey (Hoxworth) Fuller. She passed from this life Saturday, April 20, 2013, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Phyllis married the love of her life, J.D. Ford, in November, 1945, and they made their home in Guymon, OK. She was the loving mother of Richard Ford (April) of Edmond, OK and Gay Dillman (Bob) of Cypress, TX. Phyllis made many wonderful memories with her five treasured grandchildren; Meagan Begin (Eric), Matthew Ford (Paula), Carrie Cutshall (McKenzie), Craig Dillman (Betsy) and Doug Dillman. She took great pride in her 9 great-grandchildren; Hannah, Reece and Lawson Ford, Hunter and Lily Begin, Zachary and Addie Cutshall and Hope and Joel Dillman. Phyllis worked for many years as an insurance agent, but her real love was her family and caring for others. She was a long time member of the Church of Christ and was known for her hospitality and giving heart. Phyllis enjoyed traveling with J.D., fishing with J.D., visiting friends across the country with J. D., hosting guests with J.D., meeting new friends with J.D., and even shopping with J.D. After 67 years of marriage, who could be surprised that Phyllis only waited 5 weeks to join him in their next life. A funeral was held Monday April 22, 2013 at the Edmond Church of Christ.
