Rebecca Dea Carter

Rebecca Dea Carter, age 74, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on May 5, 2026.

Born on October 4, 1952, in Lindsay, Oklahoma, Rebecca was the beloved daughter of Ray and Patsy Wall. She grew up in Lindsay, where she graduated from Lindsay High School before attending Central State College.

It was shortly after her college years that Rebecca met the love of her life, Warren Carter. Together, they built a life rooted in love and devotion. Rebecca’s greatest joy was her children, Crystal and Michael, who were the light of her life. She was a constant presence in their lives, making sure she was always there to cheer them on in every activity they pursued.

A creative and nurturing spirit, Rebecca found great joy in decorating her home, working in her garden and cooking for those she loved. She will be forever remembered as a loving mother and grandmother with a truly gentle soul that touched everyone she met.

Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Crystal Ray and husband Adam, and their children, Adelynn and Camden; and her son, Michael Carter and wife Megan, and their children, Mia and Mandy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Carter; her parents, Ray and Patsy Wall; and her two brothers, Jay and David Wall.

A public visitation will be held prior to the service on Monday, May 11, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Matthews Funeral Home Chapel, Edmond, Oklahoma with services to follow at 2:00 p.m.
