1956-2014

Rene` Thurman, 57, of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away February 1, 2014.  She was born February 27, 1956 in Elk City, OK to Ervin & Ronnie Thurman.  Throughout her life, Rene` worked as a business manager for Draper Motor Company and later in administrative services for Chesapeake Energy.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Guy & Gertrude Thurman and grandmother, Violet Swaner.  She is survived by her parents; sisters, Ronita Cox and Cindy Vignal; nieces and nephews, Chelodi Sanford, Kade Sanford, Deidra Dacus, Cody Vignal and Chance Vignal; and "grandchildren," Haley, Levi, Luke & Rachel Dacus, and Rhett Sanford.

Memorial Services for Rene` will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Edmond Church of Christ Chapel.

Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, OK.
