Reneau Lynn Parrott passed away on January 22nd, 2025. Reneau was born on March 26, 1954, in Blackwell Oklahoma, to Emma Lou "Moyer" Chambers and Richard Kenneth Chambers. A longtime resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Reneau graduated from Blackwell High School in 1972 and then married the love of her life David Gene Parrott on February 1st, 1974. Later that year the happy couple welcomed their only son, Ryan Matthew Parrott. Reneau attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated with her doctorate degree as a pharmacist in 1990.
After a 30-year career in the pharmaceutical field she decided to retire in 2020 so that she could enjoy the next season of her life traveling the world with her husband, and spending time with her grandchildren. Reneau and David traveled to New York, Italy, Europe, New Orleans, and Colorado so needless to say she was enjoying retirement. She loved Norah Jones and David made sure that they attended several of her concerts including one at Red Rock Amphitheatre in Colorado.
Reneau was preceded in death by her parents Emma Lou "Moyer" Chambers and Richard Kenneth Chambers of Blackwell, Oklahoma. She is survived by her husband David, and her son Ryan and his wife Malana of Oklahoma City, five grandchildren Rilee and her partner Rachel, Violet, Zoie and her husband Aiden, William and Xavier. Reneau is also survived by two sisters Pam, and Stacy and her husband David Corneil and many more much-loved family members.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2024, at Matthews Funeral Home., 601 S. Kelly Edmond, OK 73003.
