Rick Vernon Melton was born on April 4, 1955 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Max Vernon and Doris Jean (Beal) Melton. Rick was raised in Yukon, Oklahoma with his four siblings, Kathryn Suarez, Barbara Matthews, Donna Melton and Joe Bob Melton.
He passed away in Whitney, Texas on August 13, 2019. He is survived by his wife Vanessa G. (Lewellen) Melton of the home. Children, Stephanie Melton, Kimberly Hickey, Michelle Kirkes and Michael Price.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Fairview Baptist Church, Clifton, Texas.
