Our dear brother, Robert Wayne Hesby (lovingly known as Bobby) was born on December 24, 1950, and went to be with his Lord and Savior, on Sunday morning, October 29, 2023, at the age of 72.
Robert was a graduate of Deer Creek High School (Edmond). Soon after graduation, Robert enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served in the Philippine Islands, and was honorably discharged in 1971.
Robert is survived by his son, Cody Hesby of Bethany, Oklahoma, 2 brothers; David Hesby of Edmond, Oklahoma and Ronald Hesby of Bethany, Oklahoma, 2 sisters; Linda Kelso and Norma Meeker, brother -in-law Dan Meeker, all of Edmond, Oklahoma, and several nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by both of his paternal and maternal grandparents, his father, Lloyd W. Hesby, his mother, Geraldine L. (Siemen) Hesby/Bass, his stepfather, Lloyd Bass, his brother, Lloyd E. Hesby, his sister-in-law, Pamela Hesby, his brother-in-law David Kelso and his nephew, James Hesby.
He will forever be loved and missed.
