Robert "Bob" Sloane Orcutt
1932-2018
Bob died peacefully in his sleep, at home, after an extended illness on August 31, 2018. Bob was born April 10, 1932 in Oklahoma City to Allen Wood Orcutt and Georgina (Gene) Sloane Orcutt Howard. He was the youngest of five children.

Bob married Carol "Dee" Fleming on June 15, 1967. They moved to Irving, Texas where he worked for Uniroyal Tires, JCPenny, Cooper Airmotive and retired from Aviall as an engine overhaul mechanic. During retirement, Bob and Dee "worked" together, for a time, at the Mountain Man Nut & Fruit Company, in Branson, MO.
Bob was predeceased by his parents Allen and Gene, and step-father John Howard; two brothers and their wives: John Orcutt and wife Ruth, George Orcutt and wife Dorothy, a brother-in-law, Tex Ritter and a son-in-law; Barry Fischer.

Bob loved ice cream and malts from Braums. He enjoyed music of any kind. He always carried a pocket knife, phone, keys to the car, even though he didn't drive and a bunch of Kleenex in his pockets. He never went out without his hat and sweater. He was a quiet man with not much to say but when he did it meant something. He had a love that never quit and always forgave. A wonderful father and husband that always went the extra mile, without complaint. He was loved by many and will never be forgotten. A Celebration-of-Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 8 th , 2018, at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, Oklahoma with Pastor Mark Allen officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the Oklahoma Honor Guard.
