Rose D. Golightly
1925-2016
Rose D. Golightly, 91, of Edmond, OK, passed away on October 27, 2016. She was born on June 7, 1925 in Wheeler, TX to James and Fannie (Gastiva) Hawkins.
Rose was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Shawnee and the Lakeside Assembly of God in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed puzzles and word searches, but her pride and joy were her three dachshunds, Troubles, Snoopy and Cindy.
Rose is survived by her son, Fred Golightly and wife, Diane of Edmond; grandson, Jeffery P. Golightly, granddaughter, Hollye K. Woods and husband Daniel; six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Golightly, three sisters, and one nephew.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 31, 2016 at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery in Shawnee, OK.
