Rose Hendricks Scott

Rose Hendricks Scott, 79, of Jones, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025.

Born on September 26, 1945, in Wisconsin, Rose was the beloved daughter of William and Lillie Mae Hendricks. She was a devoted wife to Jerry Scott for over 30 years and a loving mother to their three sons, Kenny, Eddie, and B.J..

A longtime member of the Luther Church of Christ, Rose was known for her generous spirit and incredible talent as a baker, crafting beautiful wedding cakes for many happy couples in the community. Her legendary poker games and practical jokes brought joy and laughter to everyone who knew her. Rose found happiness in the hunt for hidden treasures at garage sales and flea markets and loved traveling with her husband, Jerry.

For Rose, the most wonderful time of the year was Christmas. As Santa's helper, she spent weeks baking special treats and wrapping gifts, which she delivered to family and friends in her big red van.

Rose is survived by her husband, Jerry Scott; her sons and their wives, Kenny and Bonnie, Eddie and Teresa, and B.J. and Ginger; her brother, Jody Hendricks; and her grandchildren, Christina, Joey, Bailey, William, James, and Kelly. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and many other loved ones.
