Ruby June Holt passed away in Edmond, OK on May 21, 2015. She was born to Marion and Elsie Miller in Sallisaw, OK on July 4, 1926. Ruby was very involved at Fairview Baptist Church and will be remembered for her work with Fairview Baptist Outreach. She particularly enjoyed working with the youth groups, newly married couples, and the Sunday morning nursery. It brought her great joy to visit the nursery on Sundays. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene Holt, brother Glyndon Miller, brother CB Miller, and half-sister Syble Parsons. Ruby is survived by sisters; Betty (Hershel) Thompson of Tulsa, OK, Carol (Jerry) Brown of Edmond, OK, Charlotte (Cliff) Cope of Yakima, WA, and numerous nephews and nieces. Funeral Services for Ruby will be Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Fairview Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Sallisaw Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Building Fund at Fairview Baptist Church.
