Saul Rogols
1933-2021
Saul Rogols was born in Sussex, MA on July 27, 1933. He passed away July 20, 2021. Saul grew up in Chelsea, MA and went to college at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, OH. He earned his Masters at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and was a staunch buckeye fan. Saul was a biochemist in the food industry for forty-five years before retiring. He had lived in his beloved Colorado Rockies for 27 years before moving to Edmond, OK to be near family. Saul loved traveling in Europe and spending time in Santa Fe, NM. He and Janelle were avid collectors of American Indian and Inuit Art. Saul loved the Opera and Classical Music and traveled to New York and Europe several times to hear Operas being performed.
Saul is survived by his wife of 37 years, Janelle, two sons, Marc Rogols, and wife Heidi, of Circleville, OH and Kevin Rogols, and wife Kathy, of Fife Lake, MI and his stepchildren Don and Teressa Oldfather of Lincoln, NE and Steve and Susanne Flewelling of Edmond, OK. Saul and Janelle have fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
The family will be holding private services.
