Scott C. Miles

Scott C. Miles, 49, passed away on July 8, 2015 at his home in Edmond. He was born August 18, 1965, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Gary H. and Susan A. (Rice) Miles. Scott graduated from Edmond Memorial High School and went on to graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma, where he earned a B.B.A. in Marketing. He was a longtime resident of Edmond, where he was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved animals, and his loyal dog Maddi was a special part of his life. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Gary H. Miles, and his stepfather, Robert T. Rice. He is survived by his daughter, Mia Miles, his mother Susan A. Rice, a sister, Kelly S. Partyka and her husband Ken, a niece, Lindsay A. Partyka, and nephews Kenneth C. Partyka and Cade M. Partyka. He is also survived by stepbrothers Bradley R. Rice, Barry T. Rice, and Brian L. Rice. Services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, Oklahoma, followed by interment at Gracelawn Cemetery.
