Sharon was born in Brenham, TX and spent her early years there. From ages 6 to 17, her family resided in Australia, Phillippines, Indonesia and Malaysia, before her graduation from high school. She graduated from Oklahoma University in 1980 and the OU School of Law in 1983. She then married Thomas Cubberley in 1984. Sharon gave birth to Alexander Thomas Cubberley in 1988 and Caroline Austin Cubberley in 1990. She taught elementary school for many years in Texas, only recently returning to Edmond. Sharon is survived by her children, Alex and Caroline; parents, Burt and Kay Culp; sister, Cathryn Schmid; niece, Jennifer Belcher; great nephew, Caden Belcher; former husband, Thomas; and her beloved dog, Baker. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 8 ^th at the First Christian Church Chapel (3700 N. Walker, OKC). In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in memory of Sharon to the Lab Rescue OK, Inc. (2608 W. Kenosha, #434, Broken Arrow, OK 74012). Selected services were under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond.
