Sharon Marie Lee passed from this life and entered the gates of Heaven on November 6, 2025, at the age of 79.
Sharon was born on August 19, 1946, to Steve and Ester Zomok in Everett, Washington and graduated high school there. Sharon had plans after graduation to move to Italy to pursue becoming an artist, but those plans got changed when she moved to Oklahoma with her friend and met the love of her life, Ron Lee.
Ron and Sharon married on April 2, 1969, and were married for 57 wonderful years. Sharon worked for Boeing for a while in Washington and would tell us how she would help them on the 747 aircraft to get extra hours. She would say that, back then, it was seldom that you would see a lady doing that sort of work.
Sharon grew up with antiques and began helping her mom sell them at the age of seven. She is well known by many for her outstanding knowledge of antiques. Her name was respected in the antique business as she traveled to do shows and several estate sales. She loved it.
Sharon was a giving lady and loved her family with all her heart. She loved animals as well. Sharon was strong-minded and strong willed, stubborn at times and was a tomboy growing up. She did not like to be told no and would tell you so. She was an exceptional cook and a very classy lady. Sharon was a wonderful mother-in-law (aka Mom) and will be missed beyond words. Sharon never met a stranger and was a favorite at her care facility, Iris Memory Care in Oklahoma City.
The Lee family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone at Iris Memory Care who had a hand in taking such great care of our mom. They became like family. We thank you so much for loving our mom as much as we do. To those at Trinity Hospice who cared for mom, we cannot thank you enough for caring for our mom with the respect and dignity which is deserved by everyone. Thank you for guiding us through this difficult time. Your care will never be forgotten.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, November 12th at Gracelawn Cemetery, Edmond, Oklahoma.
