Mike and Sharon lived in Pensacola for many years where Sharon was known for her cake decorating skills and her love of arts and crafts. From 1987 to 2012, they were active members of Deltona Alliance church where they took Bible studies and helped with middle school students. Sharon was a Girl Scout leader for many years and was fondly known as the "Cookie Mom". She continued working with Girl Scouts when Mike's work brought the family to Edmond, OK, in June of 2012.
Sharon worked at the Oklahoma City Clinic and also worked as a cashier at the Crest store in Edmond. She became a member of Quail Springs Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, where her and Mike enjoyed fellowship with their Life Principles Connect Group.

The family would especially like to thank Wendi Jakubiak, of Mercy Hospice, who gave loving care to Sharon in her last weeks of life. They would also like to thank the members of the Life Principles Connect Group for the many ways they have supported the Nabicht family during her illness.
