Sharon "Shannon" Kathleen DeGeare went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 22, 2014, in Edmond, Oklahoma. She was the granddaughter of the famous Ed and Stella Gallagher, of Stillwater, Oklahoma.

She was a loving wife and mother. Shannon loved all of her animals and living the farm life with her husband. Her passions were researching and buying antiques as well as creating her family's genealogy for the future generations.

Shannon is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jesse DeGeare; brother, Richard Pruitt; sons, David DeGeare and Jay DeGeare; and grandchildren, Christian DeGeare, Reagan DeGeare, Jakob DeGeare, and Taylor DeGeare.

Public viewing will be held at the Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma, on Sunday, August 24 between 2:30 and 8 p.m.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 25 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Edmond, Oklahoma, at 2 p.m.
