Services for Sherry Duncan will be held at 11:00 a.m., January 31 st at the Memorial Road Church of Christ in Edmond, OK. Pastor Phil Brookman will be officiating her life celebration.

The world lost a beloved mother, Sherry Kay Duncan on January 26, 2022 from a long struggle with cancer. Sherry died at her home at 11:40 a.m. surrounded by her husband, sons and daughter.

Sherry was born on November 19, 1945 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to William T. "Dub" Brown and Lucretia Brown. Sherry attended Madill High School and graduated in 1963. Soon after graduating from high school, she married George G. Duncan from Madill. They were married for 58 ½ years. Sherry and George lived in Madill, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Aledo, TX, Enid, OK, Tulsa, OK then resided in Edmond, OK after retiring. Sherry worked in the medical field her whole life up to retiring.

Sherry had 4 children, Ty Duncan from Edmond, OK, Jeff Duncan from Keller, TX, Todd Duncan from Fort Worth, TX and a daughter Shana Duncan from Edmond, OK. Sherry was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending as much time as she could with her 9 grandchildren.

Sherry was a member of the Memorial Road Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, George Duncan and her cousin Jan Jerner from Dallas, TX. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Joy L. Purser and her granddaughter Chloe.

Our family would like to deeply thank the wonderful people that took care of our mom at Integris Cancer Institute. We would also like to thank Companion Hospice for their loving care in her last days with us.

Flowers may be sent to Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, OK or in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Integris Cancer Institute at 5911 W. Memorial Rd. OKC, OK.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 31, 2022 at Memorial Road Church of Christ.
