Stanley Nemec, 80 resident of Edmond passed away in his home surrounded by his family.

Stan was born July 27, 1933 in Youngstown, Ohio , to John and Mary Nemec. After graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School, he proudly served his country in the Navy. On September 19, 1959 he married the love of his life Patricia F. Menold. Stan worked in warehouse management primarily as a safety manager for Fleming Foods Inc.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Nemec, his two daughters Terry Lynn Matthews of Lakeland, Fl, and Mary Ellen Lovell of Edmond, OK, grandchildren Jeffery and Jessica Richter, and great grand children Hannah, Waylon Richter , and Ellie Zealey.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John and Michael Nemec, and sister Mary Stanish.

Viewing will be prior to the service from 1-2pm, The Funeral service will start at 2pm on Thursday September 19 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Youngstown, Ohio.
