Steven Albert Wheeler
1955 – 2025
Steven Albert Wheeler, 69 years old, of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, died in Oklahoma City of congestive heart failure on January 2, 2025.
He was born in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma in 1955 to Albert and Marilyn Wheeler and was the first of their three children. Steven attended Kingfisher Schools before studying to be a geologist at The University of Oklahoma, eventually following in his father's footsteps and working in the oil industry.
Steven was preceded in death by Al Wheeler (father), and Sandra Turner (sister). He is survived by Marilyn Wheeler (mother), Brynda Wheeler (sister), Breahna Heimstra (daughter), her husband Brett and their son, Reef. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews.
Steven's funeral service will be held at the Church of the Nazarene, located at 414 W. Hill Dr. Kingfisher, OK 73750, on Saturday, January 25th at 11:00 a.m.
