Susan E. Freeman
1954 – 2025
Susan Haines Freeman 71, of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away February 26, 2025, she was born January 20, 1954, to Donald Wiley Haines and LaDema Starks Haines, in Hominy, Oklahoma.
Susan lived in Perryton Texas, Amarillo Texas, Platteville Colorado, Canadian Texas, then making her final home in Edmond, Oklahoma in 1990.
Susan worked for 33 years at the Edmond Public School System as an assistant director of the child nutrition department. She was an active member of the ESNA and traveled to many conventions all over the United States.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Stanley Freeman, three children, son Michael Freeman and his wife Dalena, daughter Becky Robles and her husband Steve, daughter Carrie Freeman, five grandchildren, Dallas Robles and his wife Caitlin, Ashleigh Robles, Alecia Freeman, MJ Freeman and Khloe Owens, one great-grandson Brooks Robles, sister Candy West and her husband Chuck, sister Cendy Stucks and her husband Skip, brother Steven Haines, brother Donald Haines and his wife Jennifer and numerous nieces and nephews.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents Donald and LaDema Haines, one brother David Haines, a brother-in-law Spencer Jinkins, and a nephew Jason Jinkins.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday March 4, 2:00pm, at Matthews Funeral Home Edmond, Oklahoma.
