1940-2024
Tammy Maria Lewis was called home by her savior Jesus Christ on January 28 th 2024 at 2:48 pm. She was born in Okinawa Japan on October the 2 nd 1940. She married Glen Lewis on December the 22 nd 1967.
She was the type of person who never met a stranger, and was always smiling. She was a wonderful Wife and mother and raised two children. Once her children were older she became an entrepreneur and Started her own Alteration business making custom wedding dresses, then moved on to run her own Jewelry and Gift business. She had Strong faith in Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church and lived everyday devoted to him. She was devoted to her Family, Family meant everything to her she was a beloved wife to her husband for 56 years, a wonderful mother to her 2 children and she was also an amazing grandmother to her 3 Grandchildren. Family was the greatest Joy in her life and she made sure they knew how much they meant to her every day.
Tammy is survived by her Husband Glen Lewis, her two children Maryann Lewis and John Lewis, her 3 Grandchildren Nicholas Lewis, Jerry Davenport, and Kylee Lewis who all live in Edmond Oklahoma.
Visitation will be held from 1-8 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2024 at Matthews Funeral Home. Wake service will begin at 6:00 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Edmond, OK.
