Tamra "Tammy" Michelle Cook
1963-2022
Tamra "Tammy" Michelle Cook, 58, of Oklahoma City, went to be with her baby girl, Ali, on March 19, 2022. Tammy was born August 12, 1963, in El Reno, Oklahoma to John David "J.D." Kitzmiller and Wanda Jean Willmon.
Tammy graduated from Yukon High School in 1981 and soon after went to work with her father at Diversified Marketing Service. She would work there until 2003 reaching the level of company manager.
In 2004 Tammy went to work at Santa Fe Dental, sharing office manager duties with her best friend Janet Minick until 2014.
Tammy met her soulmate Kevin Cook in January of 1985. Kevin and Tammy even shared the same birthday! They were married on August 24, 1985 and remained so for 37 cherished years until her death.
Tammy and Kevin welcomed their son Kory on September 20, 1986 and felt that their family was complete when daughter Ali arrived on April 3, 1996. Tammy loved being a mom and she truly adored and loved her children.
In April of 2014 she received her most cherished title yet, Gammy! Her granddaughters, Rowan and Sloane loved spending the night with their Gammy. Especially their outings to the Dollar Store where they each received $5 to spend and had a ball shopping for just the perfect items. They enjoyed cooking, arts & crafts (even when it made Pop Pop a nervous wreck), gardening, mani's and pedi's, all the stuff little girls love to do with their Gammy.
Tammy also loved her fur babies. She had many she loved over the years, but her current companions were Kramer and Gordo. Tammy loved her friends and family and always enjoyed getting together, whether it was at the lake, celebrating someone's birthday or a holiday gathering. You could count on her to have a great time with those she loved. Tammy was always there to lend a shoulder or an ear to her friends in need. Tammy is survived by the love of her life, Kevin, son Kory, daughter-in-law Lakan, granddaughters Rowan and Sloane, son-in-law, Cody Smith, her parents J.D. and Wanda Kitzmiller, mother-in-law, Karen Cook, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Lisa and Gary Rondina, nieces and nephews, Tiffany and Brett Evans, Tara Grant, Taylor, Precious and Elliot Grant, as well as a host of friends and relatives. She is preceded in death by her beautiful daughter Ali Smith and father-in-law Leroy Cook.

Her celebration of life ceremony for family and friends will be held this Friday March 25 th , at 2:00pm at 10 West Main Street, Suite 135, Yukon, OK 73099.
