Ted O Milford Jr. passed into eternal life on July 5, 2016. He was born January 16, 1946 to Ted O. and Claraetta Milford Sr. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He spent his formative years in Huron, South Dakota, graduating from High School in 1964. He spent one year at Oklahoma State University before entering in the Navy. Ted worked on the

nuclear submarines where he developed his passion for electronics and computers. After serving 3 years, he was medically discharged and made his career in the computer industry. He returned to Edmond, Oklahoma in 1988, working at Tinker Air Force Base as a civilian contractor in their data systems. A natural athlete, Ted was a scratch golfer, hitting his first hole in one at age 12. His love of the game continued throughout his life time. Another recreation he enjoyed was playing bridge with his best friend Steve Fossey. He also played online and had partners across the world. He met and married his wife Karen, and they made their home together in Edmond. They attended Highland Park Baptist Church, where Ted was an active member. Holding Bible Studies in their home on Saturday evenings was a joy for many years. He enjoyed traveling to China to visit his in laws and extended family, and enjoyed opening their home to students from China. Ted is preceded in death by his parents and a brother. He is survived by his wife Karen, his sister Loretta (John) Schallenkamp of Lakewood, Colorado, his son Ted O Milford III, niece Kathy (Dan) Schallenkamp Roberts and their family, nephew John (Nicole) Schallenkamp and their family, many other relatives and friends around the world.

A celebration of Ted's life will be held at Highland Park Baptist Church, 400 N Blackwelder Avenue, Edmond, OK 73034 at 12:00 on Friday July 8, 2016. Lunch will follow at 1:00 p.m.. Family will attend a private burial in Davenport Cemetery, Davenport Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ted's honor to the University of Colorado
