Lorene was born July 19, 1916 to John and Florence Zeikle on a farm near Polo, Missouri. Lorene graduated from Polo High School and then moved to Kansas City, MO where she met the love of her life Harold Dahlstrom. They married June 27 ^th , 1940 in Kansas City and had sixty wonderful years together. They had one daughter whom they loved very much.

Lorene is survived by her daughter, Barbara Breithaupt and son-in-law (Jay); two grandchildren, Jodie Breithaupt Hoover and husband (Clark) and Bart Breithaupt; three great grandchildren, Justin Hoover and wife (Jess), Ashley Hoover Farr and husband (David) and Jackson Breithaupt; one great great grandson, Barrett Hoover and another one on the way.

Lorene was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold, her parents and her four older siblings.

Lorene was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother, and a wonderful cook and hostess. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held at Prairie Ridge Union Church at 2:00 pm Monday, 5/4/2015 Polo, Missouri with interment to follow at Prairie Ridge Cemetery.
