Theresa Elizabeth O'Keeffe
1924-2019
Theresa O'Keeffe, 94, passed away on July 15, 2019. She was born on August 16, 1924 to Domenic and Camille Valentine, raised in Jerome, Arizona and later moved to California where she met and married her beloved soulmate, James, her husband of 59 years and a WWII veteran. Her favorite pastimes included watching the Dodgers, Rams and Notre Dame. Spending time with family and having fun with her grandchildren were her greatest enjoyments. Her example of kindness and acceptance and her great sense of humor will be remembered by all. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, James, as well as by her sisters, Olivia Stieger and Pearl Garcia. She is the beloved mother of Carolyn Mihalcik (Phil), the fun-loving grandmother to Todd Mihalcik (Anita), Laura Mihalcik, Lisa Quigley (Mark) and loving great-grandmother to Tori. Theresa is also survived by her brother Daniel Valentine (Eleanor) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services provided by Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond. Wake will be held on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 7 p.m. and a funeral mass will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at St. Monica's Catholic Church followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery, OKC.
