Tommy Lee Warner, age 92, of Mustang, Oklahoma , went to Heaven on March 13, 2024. He was born on April 27, 1931, in Edmond, Oklahoma and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at a young age. Tommy served in the United States Army for 2 years on active duty as paratrooper during the Korean War. His military associations were a significant part of his life.
Tommy had a diverse career, working as a Diesel Mechanic, Ostrich Farmer, and in the Edmond Public Schools. His strong work ethic and dedication were evident in all his endeavors.
He was a member of the Baptist Church, finding solace and community in his faith within his bible, prayers and Church.
Tommy is survived by his children Phillip & Linda Sue Warner, Tim & Karen Warner, Linda Marie & Steven Woodie, along with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren – Kimberly Warner, Ricky Kirby, Rachel Mallory & husband Matt Mallory, Brian Kirby, Chloe Woodie, Cassidy Warner, Trinity Mallory, Dakotah Mallory, Reegan Kirby, Kinsley Kirby, and Kambryn Kirby.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Grace Warner, parents August & Maudie Warner, and sister Marie Green.
A service to honor Tommy's life will be held March 26, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Canadian Valley Baptist Church, 11500 SW 15th Street, Yukon, OK 73099. Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma, is assisting with the funeral arrangements.
