Vera Mae McCall

Vera Mae (Moore) McCall was born on July 10, 1922 in Sparks, Oklahoma to James and Iva Mae Neighbors. She passed away on October 5, 2016 in Edmond, OK.
Vera owned multiple rental properties. In her younger years she farmed a 480 acre property. She was a member of the Sparks Eastern Stars. Vera loved to garden, cook, and she collected dishes.
She is survived by her daughter Stella Ward and her husband Gerald Ward of Edmond, OK; son, Robert Clinton Moore; stepson Darrell McCall and his wife Mary; brothers Earl Neighbors of Edmond, OK, and Ed Neighbors and wife of Enid, OK, grandchildren; Jill Thompson of OKC, John Ward of OKC, Sarah Milburn and husband Chris of NY,NY, Amanda Moore of NY, NY, great grandchildren; Lakin and husband Bryce Best of Edmond, OK, Forrest Ward of Edmond, OK, Lauren Ward of Edmond, OK, Sloane Milburn, great great-grandchildren; Zayden Best and Zerrik Best.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents, 9 siblings, her first husband Clinton Moore, and her second husband Edgar McCall.
A public viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 7. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, OK with burial to follow at Kellerby Cemetery in Sparks, OK.
