Vincent Kirby Bonner

Vince was born, October 29, 1958, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son on WR and Beverly Kirby Bonner. He was a wonderful husband to Rebecca Bass Bonner and father to his only daughter Andrea Lindsay Bonner. He loved children and was a wonderful father, playmate and grandfather to his grandchildren Izabella Michelle and Izaiah Vincent Ramero. He was preceded in death by his parents Dub and Beverly Bonner of Roland, Oklahoma.

He will always be remembered for his love of Oklahoma football. He actively maintained an Oklahoma football website for 25 years where he posted weekly videos, he made with his buddies predicting the outcome of next week's game. His greatest love of sport in later years was pickleball, and he even took a pickleball vacation cruise. He loved to compete in pickleball tournaments and accumulated numerous medals. He often said that pickleball saved his life and kept him healthy with Alzheimer's.

Vince was a 1976 graduate of Roland high school and a member of the Roland Ranger football team. He attended the University of Oklahoma where he excelled in table tennis, winning several trophies. He served 4 years in the US Air Force where he began his studies in computer technology. After his service he went to work as a civilian at Tinker Air Force Base where he worked in computers as a knowledge management engineer. He received his Bachelor of Science from Central Oklahoma University and his MBA from Oklahoma City University. He retired from Tinker after 37 years of service in 2018.

He loved to travel visiting the Bahamas, the Caribbean, China, Spain, Portugal, Canada, the Netherlands and England. He is survived by his wife Rebecca Bass Bonner, daughter Andrea Lindsay Bonner and grandchildren Izabella Michelle Ramero and Izaiah Vincent Ramero of Edmond, Oklahoma, his sister and brother-in-law Carol and Jim Morley of OKC and brother Jeff and wife Debbie Bonner of Muldrow, one niece and three nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Monday April 7, at the Fort Smith, Arkansas National Cemetery
