Vivian Carolyn Potts
1936-2018
Vivian Carolyn (Wolfe) Potts was born October 9, 1936 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Finis and Elsie (Fisk) Wolfe. Vivian was their first born and was later followed by the birth of her two brothers, Charles Wolfe and Ted Wolfe. Vivian attended and graduated from Edmond Public Schools. On April 21, 1956, Vivian wed Bill Potts in Tucumcari, NM.
In 1957, Vivian and Bill welcomed their first daughter, Sherry (Potts) Rogers. In 1960, they welcomed their second daughter, Christy (Potts) Reid. In the 1970's, Vivian and Bill joined the Shaklee Corporation. Their Shaklee business became very successful where they would achieve the rank of Senior Coordinators. Their Shaklee business continues to thrive to this day.
Vivian lived a very full and vibrant life. Vivian departed this life January 11, 2018, surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Potts, her parents Finis and Elsie (Fisk) Wolfe, her grandparents Jim and Theo Fisk and Charlie and Pernice Wolfe, her brother Ted Wolfe and other special family members.
Vivian is survived by her brother, Charles Wolfe and wife Judy (Cline) Wolfe; sister-in-law Marilyn (Nelson) Wolfe; sister-in-law Margaret (Potts) Ames; her two daughters, Sherry (Potts) Rogers and Christy (Potts) Reid; her four grandchildren, Jennifer Rogers and significant other Loren Smith, Christopher Reid and wife Lacey (Terpstra) Reid, Jeremy Reid and significant other Kristen Remson, Justin Rogers and wife Clara (Smith) Rogers; and great grandson Wyatt Rogers. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Vivian left in peace and is now rejoicing in being reunited with the love of her life, her parents, grandparents, brother, family and friends. Vivian made a lasting impact on anyone she encountered. She will be missed, but her spirit will live on through the lives of those she touched.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond, OK with interment at 1:00 p.m. at Gracelawn Cemetery. Public viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 15 at Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, OK.
