1951-2022
Walter "Jim" James Honomichl passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of September 3, 2022. He was 71 years old.
Jim was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas on May 19, 1951. He was the fourth child, and only son, of Walter Lewis and Juanita (Taggart) Honomichl.
He graduated from Edmond High School in 1969 and joined the United States Air Force shortly thereafter. Jim returned to Edmond, Oklahoma after serving at Homestead AFB in Florida and remained there for most of his life. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time hunting and fishing.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Marsha K. Honomichl of Edmond; two stepchildren, Thomas & Molly Bixby of Tomball, TX and Emily and Nate Bandaries of Parker, CO; two grandsons, Logan Bixby of Lewisville, TX and Tristan Bixby of Tomball, TX; as well as many other family and friends.
Jim will be cremated and laid to rest at Gracelawn Cemetery at a later date.
