Wanda Louise Rollins

Edmond

Wanda Louise Rollins passed peacefully at her home on April 10, 2026, at the age of 89, in Edmond, Oklahoma. Born July 11, 1936, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to Kenneth and Goldie Overfelt. Her family moved to Arkansas City, Kansas, where Louise graduated high school. She married Windle Rollins in July of 1954, and celebrated their 71st Anniversary last year. They eventually settled in Moore, Oklahoma, operating Rollins Kerr-McGee gas station on 4th and Telephone Road. After retirement, they moved to Edmond, Oklahoma, in 2008.

Louise was a wonderful mother raising four children: Shelly Carter, Marci Rollins, Mitch Rollins, and Scott Rollins. She made her son-in-law Pat Carter and daughter-in-law Maryann Rollins feel like her own children. Louise was the best Granny to Ashlee Harrington and Renee Hampton, spoiling them rotten over the years, and loved their husbands Charlie and Seth. She was a loving step-grandmother to Brittany Carter-Brazier and Tiffany Milligan. Overjoyed was an understatement when she became a great-grandmother to Ryden Harrington and later to Emerson and Maddox Brazier. She loved and pampered many fur babies over the years as well.

A beautiful woman both inside and out, Louise had a big heart, and the best sense of humor that dementia could not take away. Anyone who came into her home was made to feel welcome and treated like family. She was always supportive of her children and grandchildren’s ambitions, encouraging them to be the best they could be, and was proud of each and every one of them. Nothing made her happier and fulfilled than spending time with the loving tight-knit family she created. She will be forever be in their hearts, leaving them with so many memories to cherish and make them smile.

She is survived by her husband and children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Chris Renfro, and two nephews: Daniel Goans and Kyle Beumeler. She was proceeded in death by her parents Kenneth and Goldie (Hutsell) Overfelt and brother Kenneth William “Billy” Overfelt.

Her family is ever so grateful to the home health aides from Senior Care at Home: Jen, Lori, Tamara, Tia, and Angel, along with the many others over the past two years who helped her daily, showing patience, respect, tenderness, and genuine loving care! Heartfelt thanks to her daughter Marci who lovingly took on the role of a primary care giver. We would also like to thank Summer and the staff of Good Shepherd Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
