William "Kimzey" Womack

1918-2013

William Kimzey Womack, age 95, of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away on December 10, 2013 in Edmond. Kimzey was born in Pyron, TX on Sept. 29, 1918. He was a Territory Manager for Certain-Teed Corporation. He was a member of the Oklahoma Municipal Contractors Association, Out-of-Towners Camping Club and the Good Sam's Club.

Kimzey was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lum Kimzey; parents, Walter & Mary (Kimzey) Womack; and brother, James Roy Efaw.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Womack of Edmond, OK; sons, Dan Womack of Wyandotte, OK and Michael & Beverly Womack of Moore, OK; brothers, Jerry Womack of Denair, CA and Neal Womack of Pueblo, CO; and best friend, Dale Lofton of Edmond, OK.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel, Edmond, OK. A reception will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Bradford Village Community Center in Edmond. Private family interment was held at Gracelawn Cemetery.
