William M Zielny
1928-2017
William M. Zielny, 89, of Edmond, OK passed away on May 11, 2017 in Oklahoma City, OK. William was born on March 1, 1928 in Britton, OK to Mike and Margaret Zielny. He graduated from John Carroll Catholic High School, OKC in 1945. William served in the United States Army. In his early years, he enjoyed dancing, attending bull fights, gardening and carpentry. He was employed as an aircraft assembler for approximately 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three siblings, Claudine, Buddy, and Joyce. He is survived by his sister, Jerry, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 15, 2017 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond, OK with interment to follow at St. Teresa's cemetery in Harrah, OK.
